Teletext Network Controller - Extendibility

Many FAB Teletext Network Controller systems can be running in parallel and operating on the same database.

By operating systems in parallel the following can be achieved

Increased performance

Increased reliability

Increased performance

When one FAB Teletext Network Controller unit becomes too busy with clients, HTML export or other automated functions additional units can be added.

Additional units can also extend the number of serial ports to more than 32.

Increased reliability

For every additional FAB Teletext Network Controller unit another one can be set-up that operates in parallel and increases the system availability in case of failure.

Please note that the highest possible availability of the system is achieved with the Windows NT Cluster configuration.
